Visitors are an important part of hospital life and contribute greatly to a patient’s recovery. However, for the benefit of our patients we do ask that visitors observe the visiting hours set out, particularly those set aside for rest periods.

More flexible visiting hours can be arranged in special circumstances – such as with extremely ill patients or where families live a considerable distance from the hospital.

Visitors may be asked to leave the room temporarily whilst medical or nursing staff attend to the patient.
