Partnering with Consumers Committee – Your voice in improving CDH services
The Board and Staff are responsible for ensuring that consumers, carers and community members are meaningfully involved in decision making about their health. In extending this further, at Cohuna District Hospital (CDH) we believe consumers should be consulted about health service planning, the design of services, and are able to review the performance impact of services on the health and wellbeing of the community in which they live.
The purpose of the Partnering with Consumers Committee is to improve the quality and safety of the health services delivered by CDH through the effective input of consumers in planning and evaluation of services.
If you would like to join the Partnering with Consumers Committee please fill out the attached form and return to the Community Engagement Officer via the following email; [email protected], or by returning directly to the hospital.

CDH Maternity Services Steering Committee
Are you interested in the Maternity Service at CDH and its evolving future? Would you be willing to give us some of your time and be involved in a new initiative to assist as a Consumer Representative on a newly formed Maternity Services Steering Committee? We are after Consumer feedback with a particular focus on those that have used or are currently using our services in the near future.
You will have to be available at least once a month for 1-2 hours and also be able to access ZOOM meetings, which you can do from the comfort of your own home or we can make a computer / device available at CDH if that helps.
To register your interest, please email [email protected] with a few paragraphs about why you want to support this group and what you may be able to offer in terms of input and perspective on the topic.
Otherwise, please feel free to call (03) 5456 5300 and ask to speak with our Director Clinical Services (DCS) Wendy Lunghusen about the opportunity. Your time and your feedback into this process is greatly appreciated.
