Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- KSC1: Sound knowledge and skill in relation to nursing care, relevant to experience and scope of clinical practice.
- KSC2: Sound appreciation of clinical practice requirements related to the clinical environment.
- KSC3: Good understanding and adherence to the principles underpinning patient-centred care.
- KSC4: Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and effectively with patients and colleagues.
- KSC5: Ability to set goals, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
- KSC6: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.
- KSC7: Good working knowledge of current nursing issues and trends.
- KSC8: Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Mandatory Requirements
- A satisfactory National Police Check is required. CDH will not make a formal offer of employment until this document is provided.
- Annual Influenza vaccination compliance is a requirement for employment at Cohuna District Hospital.
