Position: Aged Care Enrolled Nurse – Long Service Leave Backfill
Employment Type: Part Time, Fixed Term – 56 hours per fortnight
Cohuna District Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Aged Care team on a part time, fixed term basis to backfill long service leave. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values person-centred care and clinical excellence.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and contributing to the overall wellbeing of our aged care residents.
Key Selection Criteria:
Applicants are required to address the following in their cover letter:
- KSC1: Sound knowledge and skill in relation to nursing care, relevant to experience and scope of clinical practice
- KSC2: Sound appreciation of clinical practice requirements related to the clinical environment
- KSC3: Good understanding and adherence to the principles underpinning patient-centred care
- KSC4: Well-developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients and colleagues
- KSC5: Ability to set goals and objectives and meet deadlines as required
- KSC6: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework
- KSC7: Good working knowledge of current nursing issues and trends
- KSC8: Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
